The Public Health Department, Ekiti State Ministry of Health and Human Services, has produced its latest edition of the Public Health Emergency Operations Centre (PHEOC) Epidemiological Bulletin (EpiWeek 18 – 26, April 28 – June 29, 2025), through the BHCPF – NCDC Gateway for Emergency Preparedness Funding. This bulletin provides vital insights into disease surveillance, outbreak trends, and public health responses within the State for the period April to June 2025. It is an essential resource for policymakers, public health professionals, researchers and partners, and community health advocates. It also contained summary of priority diseases tracked in 2025, information from the Ministry of Environment under the One Health scheme, some health tips, and information on one of the IDSR diseases being monitored.
As partners at MicroBiotics NG, we believe that by strengthening data-driven decision-making, we can better prepare for and respond to health emergencies while protecting the health of our communities. Hence, we provided our communication services by helping design this bulletin, with all the necessary information collated and support provided by members of the Epidemiology Unit, Department of Public Health, Ekiti State Ministry of Health and Human Services, Nigeria.
